This is the second post of my journey to Accenture. In this post I will describe how I prepared for exams and what is the exam pattern of exam. If you have not read the first post of this series then I recommend you to read the first post then read this post.
Preparation for Exams
As in the first post, I have discussed that I don’t have criteria for IT companies and I was working in a startup as well. So in meantime, I was also preparing for banking exams due to which the exam pattern of Accenture and exams as well are easier and familiar to me.
I was preparing for banking exams from the Adda247 website and app. In Adda247 I used to give the mock tests every day which maintain my accuracy and speed to give exams in Accenture.
Exam Pattern In Accenture
So let’s talk about the exam pattern of Accenture.
Accenture is hiring for two packages: 4.5 LPA and 6.5 LPA, through its Zonal level Recruitment Process. The employment procedure is standard, and the Accenture Test Pattern for 2022 Pass-outs may be found here. The Accenture Test Pattern is divided into four phases. These stages are
- Cognitive and Technical Assessment
- Coding
- Communication Test
- Interview
Stage 1: Cognitive and Technical Assessment
The Accenture Recruitment Process 2021 is currently in its first round. This first round has a total time limit of 90 minutes. 50 minutes for cognitive ability and 40 minutes for technical evaluation out of a total of 90 minutes. When I gave the exams.
Accenture has revised its employment procedure for the class of 2022 graduates this year. Accenture Hiring test will now consist of six sections, followed by an interview round.
There is no negative marking. Yes its true, that there is no negative marking so if you don’t know the answer then you can guess the answer also.
There are six internal components in Stage 1 of the Accenture Recruitment process. The details for this stage are provided below.
Accenture Test Rounds | Number of questions |
English Ability | 17 Ques |
Critical Reasoning and Problem Solving | 18 Ques |
Abstract Reasoning | 15 Ques |
Common Application and MS Office | 12 Ques |
Pseudo Code | 18 Ques |
Networking Security and Cloud | 10 Ques |
Stage 2 : Coding
The Accenture Coding Questions followed the format outlined below.
- In 45 minutes, you must finish two questions.
- C/ C++/ Java/ Python are among the languages that are permitted.
- Students that have a strong understanding of the Fundamentals of Programming have been able to pass this subject.
- To increase their chances of passing this section, students should attempt to pass all of the possible test cases.
In coding my experience was good. I have got 2 easy questions which I have done in less than 30 mins. The questions were easy and I have opt python to do those questions. The below are the 2 questions which I have got in coding.
- Given an array containing only 0’s and 1’s, Find the largest subarray containing an equal number of 0s and 1s.
- Find the sum of all numbers in range from 1 to m(both inclusive) that are not divisible by n.
These are the 2 questions which I had got in coding round ant that are easy to do using python.
Stage 3 : Communication Test
When you clear the both of the previous rounds then you are allowed to sit in this test. The marks of this test are not mandatory. It’s only to check your communication skills. To prepare for this exam I had used the Versant mobile app. The exam pattern is as same as given in this app. This stage is focused on your listening and speaking skills. There is no time-bound to give this test but be sure that you are in the silent area when you give this test.
I had to give the test 2 times due to this issue so be sure to have it in a quite place.
Accenture Communication Test is an online test that assesses a candidate’s ability to communicate in a foreign language. In this test, four parameters should be assessed.
It’s a communication test in which you’ll be judged on the following criteria:-
- Mastery of Sentences
- Vocabulary
- Fluency
- Pronunciation
Stage 4: Interview
This is the final step towards Accenture. After successfully completing stage 3 you will get confirmation mail from Accenture within a week. After 2-3 days you will get another mail to book your slot for an interview. You can select date and time according to your convenience. After that in your selected date and time you have to give your interview.
In my case my interview held for 20 mins and it was in online mode. First the interviewer comforts me by introducing himself. Then he ask me to give my introduction and after that he asks me for my projects. After explaining my projects he asked some technical questions and HR questions. At last he ask that if I had any question. So I said yes and asked one question that which language I will learn for good career. He replied that learn any language but be master on that. That’s it for the interview and I left the lobby.
The result of the interview came within five days and it says-
Dear Shubham Haldkar,
You’ve made it! Congratulations on successfully completing our hiring process.
