Roadmap To Accenture

Roadmap To Accenture(1) – Graduation and PG

In the series of Roadmap to the Accenture, this is the first post.

Here in this post I will discuss about the my journey to the Accenture.

I have done B.Sc with less than 60% criteria due to which I am unable to sit in many of the campuses. Because we all know that there are fewer firms that hire people with no technical degrees, and my grades were also poor, I opted to pursue a master’s degree after that.

So, I completed my MCA with a decent CGPA, but there is still one issue. Many MNCs, including TCS, Infosys, and Wipro, have a 60 percent overall criterion, which I am unable to meet. I gave up hope of being hired by a multinational corporation.

But here’s the catch. I noticed an Accenture recruiting that did not demand an overall 60%, but simply your most recent degree marks, so I applied to Accenture, worked hard, and was hired by Accenture. However, the path will not be simple. So, in this piece, I’ll go through everything in more detail.

Struggle in Graduation

During graduation, I was good in practicals of the computer but I was not good in theory part due to which I was unable to score good marks in theory.

During the 5th sem Capgemini came to my campus for campus placement. I am able to clear aptitude in that. After that, I was able to clear the HR round and the Technical round conducted by Capgemini. My name was also there in the list of selected students and I also got the mail from Capgemini that you are selected, but my offer letter did not come. So I talked to the recruiting cell of our college and they told me that my percentage was not up to that mark. Their recruiting criteria was 55% and until the 5th semester, I have scored 54.99%. So you can say bad luck or anything but after getting everything I am not able to join Capgemini. After that, I completed the graduation but was not able to score good marks in graduation.

After Graduation

After graduation, I have done MCA but after only 1 and a half-semester Covid came colleges get shut down. Then I have tried freelancing and tried to do an internship. I have got 1 internship and from that intern, I have reached to startup. In a startup, I started working and started preparing for aptitude.

After finishing my PG, I learned of Accenture’s recruiting of freshers who meet only the very minimal requirements for either UG or PG. As a result, this is a fantastic opportunity for me to seize and get closer to my ideal career.

So, with that, I’ll conclude my post and hope you enjoyed it. My trip to Accenture will be part of a series. I sincerely hope you enjoy it.

In an upcoming post, I will discuss about exams, interviews, and other kinds of stuff.
